The Burlington Special Olympics team with the Halton Regional Police make a great team!

Halton Police/ Burlington Special Olympics Basketball Game

In what has become an annual event, the Halton Regional Police, led by Kim Hill and Drew Scott, played basketball against the Burlington Special Olympics group of gifted athletes on February 21 at Maple Hurst School. Coached by Ken Medland and Sara Bauer, the Special Olympics team have had an outstanding season and eagerly anticipate this event.
Ken said ”the police community have been active supporters of Special Olympics for years with the Torch Run, and it gives our players an opportunity to meet the police on a great bonding evening!” Go Flames!
