Snow and Sunshine Make For a Perfect Day
The City of Burlington's Lowville Winter Games were held on January 27, and what a perfect day it was for the event! Frosty and a pony named Dragon even came to play. Outdoor games included the usual tobogganing, eating, a log-sawing competition, dodgeball, magnetic fishing games with Trout Unlimited, a gyroscope and spaceball provided by Elephant Thoughts, and Body Zorbs racing. Additional sponsored activities included Passionate about Pictures Photo Booth and crafts with Momstown. TD was also on hand giving out hot chocolate and Bur Bear was roaming freely. As you walked to the back of the park you were able to take a wonderful carriage ride with Touch of the Past Carriages & Vehicles. The Lowville Winter Games are an annual event, free to residents and friends alike, so if you did not make it out this year, be sure to do so next year as it is a great family event! The event runs rain, snow or shine! Make sure to check out the photos online if you were there! For more info please visit www.burlington.ca/lowville
