CTF Provincial Youth Championship

On January 17th, 64 qualifiers from all over the province competed in this one day, 7 game Tenpin bowling tournament at Primetime Bowling for the right to represent Southern Ontario at the 2010 Canadian Tenpin Federation Youth National Championships in May. Competition was head-to-head matchplay with the gold medal winners in each division moving on to national competition. The team will be formed with 4 boys and 4 girls, one from each age division of Bantam (11 and under), Junior (12 to 14), Intermediate (15 to 17) and Senior (18 to 21).

Matthew Lewis of Burlington has competed in this competition 4 times now and placed 2nd in his division winning the silver medal. This medal adds to the many records and medals he has under his belt. This coming August, Matthew will be a part of the Junior Team Canada and will be travelling to Finland to compete.
