An open house style reception was held at the Burlington Art Centre in appreciation of the restaurants of downtown that participated in the "Downtown Dining 2007" fundraising program and also to brainstorm for the 2008 event. This year the event will be on Sunday, July 13 and it is a tasty walking tour showcasing the delights of 19 downtown restaurants. Proceeds are donated to Performing Arts Burlington.
