2008 May > Local High School Student Wins Design Contest! A design contest was open to Burlington high school students in an effort to create awareness and excitement for the 17th Annual "Moon in June" Road Race. Local student, Natalie Eldershaw was recognized for her winning design and was presented with a $250.00 Hbc gift card in a short ceremony at Foot Tools in Burlington.
The 17th Annual Moon in June Run & Walk, takes place on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 in Burlington to raise money in support of the Halton Trauma Centre. Last year, almost 1,000 participants helped raise over $10,000.
